Sloan Transportation Products Ltd. (Sloan) today announced the launch of its MAXXGreen line of environmentally friendly products for the heavy duty trucking industry. The first two products being introduced are MAXXClean super-concentrate all-purpose cleaner and MAXXAbsorb floor cleaner and general absorbent. Both product lines are certified eco-friendly.
MAXXClean has been formulated in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide a safer, more environmentally preferable alternative to existing cleaning products without sacrificing performance. This highly concentrated, versatile cleaner is formulated to take on a wide range of cleaning jobs. It is able to quickly power off even stubborn soils and greases from any surface not harmed by water. It is available as a super-concentrate degreaser, vehicle wash, and window and glass cleaner.
MAXXAbsorb is the safe, green choice for clean up of hazardous liquid spills, including oils, fuels, solvents, and chemicals. It is a universal absorbent that is four times more absorbent than clay, ash, or sawdust. It is non-carcinogenic and has passed the testing limits for TCLP and TTLC landfill leachate testing. MAXXAbsorb is derived from coir, a renewable resource that is a completely homogenous material composed of millions of capillary micro-sponges, and it is totally organic, easy to use, and environmentally friendly.

Sloan Transportation Products Ltd. (Sloan) today announced the launch of its new MAXXDuty pogo stick. The new product is the industry’s first pogo made of composite materials and is redefining the category as the new benchmark for strength, durability, and ease of installation. The unique integrated hoop eliminates the need for zip ties, allowing operators to run hydraulic and wrapped lines through the hoop, while allowing for easy use of additional support clamps for coiled air and electrical lines. It is the only all-in-one solution available in the marketplace.
The MAXXDuty pogo is the product of a lengthy development process, which included several iterations exposed to extensive cycle testing and over a year of field trials in the harshest conditions. Its patented design features an extremely durable, injection molded, glass-filled nylon polymer top and base, and it allows for several attachment options. The rod is made in the USA of rigid, pultruded fiberglass. All of the composite, nylon, and fiberglass components are UV resistant, and any internal metal pieces are encapsulated in a protective casing. The mounting bolt, nut, and washer are the only exposed metal components on the pogo, and they are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance.

The MAXXDuty pogo is available in a 40-inch length and is ideally suited for Sloan’s MAXXDuty 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 wraps designed to efficiently manage air, electrical, and hydraulic lines, but it can be used with any heavy-duty line and cable configurations.
Sloan Transportation Products Ltd. (Sloan) today announced the release of its newly redesigned 45-inch heavy-duty pogo stick for over the road use. The new design features a thicker gauge heavy-duty spring and offers a life cycle that lasts three-times longer than the previous design. It is available in the choice of a chrome or zinc-plated dichromate steel support arm. Additionally, the base is over three-times larger and the new 3.75-inch diameter housing eliminates spring binding and provides increased resistance to sagging and bending.
Other features of the new design include:

- - A swivel arm that pivots at the base
- - A forged steel mounting stud, 7/16-20
- - For use with all nylon and rubber air brake hoses
- - Improved packaging (new heavy-duty full overlap ECT 44 box)

When tested, the Sloan heavy-duty pogo stick has consistently outperformed similar products. It has a better ability to handle increasing force when compared against the degrees from vertical. The new spring design provides more resistance along with the necessary flexibility needed to function properly. This product update replaces Sloan P/N 451057, 451058, 451059, 451060 part numbers.

and disassembly. They are a flexible
alternative for tight routing configurations and a common application for suspension

Paul Cimaroli, who brings over 40 years of industry experience to the partnership with Sloan, started TSS in 1997. The company began by providing aftermarket parts for Illinois and Eastern Missouri, and within a few years, the company’s coverage expanded to Iowa, Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Minnesota, and the Dakotas. Letts has over 15 years of experience in the heavy duty and automotive parts and service industry. She has an extensive background in customer service and sales and will be responsible for all Canadian heavy-duty OE and aftermarket sales. Letts will provide additional product and sales training, as well as oversee Sloan’s independent sales agencies in those territories.
Holstege served as a marketing intern with Sloan before joining the company full-time. She will be responsible for heavy-duty OE and aftermarket marketing support for Sloan’s US and Canadian sales teams.

Sloan is excited to announce they have added a MAXXGreen line. This is an environmentally friendly line of products. Included in this line are our three MAXXClean products. MAXXClean Super Concentrate Degreaser is available in 5 and 15 oz ready to use pouches, as well as in one-quart and one-gallon containers. MAXXClean Vehicle Wash is available in one-gallon and 5-gallon dispenser containers (perfect for the power washer). MAXXClean Window & Glass Cleaner is available in one-quart and one-gallon dispenser containers.
This self-fusing tape available in red, black, and blue is ideal for almost any application requiring a water proof seal and is an excellent insulator with high dielectric strength. It is ideal for high temperature applications while there is no adhesive residue upon removal and forms a permanent moisture tight seal.
These electrical connectors are a heat-less solderless terminal that installs in a fraction of time of comparable heat seal connectors. Simply strip the wire and crimp, activating the sealant, to create an environmentally sealed connection. The new sealant prevents the ingress of moisture and air, the nylon insulation provides maximum abrasion and puncture resistance, while the copper connection offers optimal electrical conductivity. These connectors seal out moisture causing corrosion and require no heat tools. Available in 22-18, 6-14, and 12-10 gauges.
Sloan has added another Michelin® product to the wiper blade line, the new Stealth wiper blades. The Stealth wiper blade is a duel beam blade design combining the conventional blade and the beam blade. This allows for a spring loaded tension along with a single beam providing a clean sweeping motion.
